Find the Needle Hay Tracker
A session sheet for sells, hops, and whether you actually looked for the needle.
Find the Needle rounds blur. You remember farming. You do not remember hopping. You do not remember that you never panned a crater. This tracker is a notepad structure for the Roblox haystack so the next round is a decision, not a fog. It sits next to the upgrade planner. Times you might compare against are on fastest finds.
Copy the table into a note, a spreadsheet, or your head. There is no account login and no fake live counter.
Session sheet
| Field | What to write |
|---|---|
| Date | Real date |
| Join time | When the character spawned |
| Server feel | Fresh pile / cratered / unknown |
| Sells before first bomb | Count |
| Bombs used | Count |
| Hops | Count |
| Search minutes | Time you were actually looking, not selling |
| Result | Find / fail / left |
| Executor used? | Yes / no |
| Notes | One sentence |
If “search minutes” is near zero and “sells” is huge, you already know why the needle is still hiding. Read how to farm hay only to shorten that column, then force yourself into how to find the needle.
How to fill it without ruining the round
Do not pause every grab. Fill the sheet when you hop or when you die of boredom at the shop. The point is a post-round truth, not a speedrun overlay.
A honest row might look like: fresh pile, 8 sells, 3 bombs, 0 hops, 6 search minutes, fail, no executor, stayed on spawn face. That note tells you the next round should start with server tips and a walk to the back of the mound.
Targets that are not fantasies
- First bomb before the round feels old
- At least one hop if the pile is cratered
- Search minutes greater than zero before you quit
- A fair find in the same band as the sixteen-minute public mark, not a two-second teleport
If your executor column is always yes, you are logging script sessions. That is fine if you are honest. It is not comparable to the players hub fair times.
When the tracker says stop
Stop the session when hops exceed three with no search, or when you are buying skip-list rows from the planner. Those are tilt tells. Take a break. The needle is not more likely because you are annoyed.
After a studio update, start a fresh sheet. Old sell counts will not match new prices. Check what’s new.
What we will not add
A live hay remaining counter would be fiction. The client does not give this wiki your backpack. A profit-per-minute graph with invented rates would fail facts honesty. The tools hub stays this simple until official numbers exist.
Use the sheet. Then go look.
Reading three ugly rows in a row
If three sessions in a row show high sells, zero hops, and a fail, you are playing a tycoon. Change one variable only: hop first, or bomb first, or leave spawn face first. Changing everything at once teaches you nothing.
If three sessions show hops galore and no bombs, you are panic touring servers. Stay for one bomb sweep before the next hop. How to win faster wants that sweep.
If the executor column flipped to yes and your times collapsed to seconds, stop comparing them to xnicklc. Log them in a separate note titled script. The needle finder page already explains why those seconds are not a hunt.
Share a sheet with friends only if you also share faces of the pile. Four people logging the same crater is one row, not four wins. The players hub is the etiquette reminder; this tracker is the memory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Does this tracker connect to Roblox?
No. It is a notepad structure. You write the numbers.
What is the most important column?
Search minutes. If it stays at zero, you never hunted.
Should script rounds go here?
Only if you mark the executor column. Do not mix them with fair times.
How does this help me win?
It shows whether you farmed, hopped, or looked. Then you fix the weak column using the guides hub.
