Find the Needle Patch Notes
A conservative log of studio timestamps — no invented version numbers.
This is the dated log for Find the Needle on Roblox. aarush’s fruit game does not publish numbered patch articles, so every row below is tied to a timestamp or a verifiable in-game fact. Feature advice after a change lives on what’s new. The index is the updates hub.
We will not copy another hay clone’s changelog. 50,000-hay Extreme mode is a different place.
22 August 2026 — launch
The universe was created. The pitch on the game page:
- Find the needle in 1,000,000 hay
- Collect hay from the pile
- Sell hay for money and buy upgrades
- Find the needle and win
- Like the game and join the group for updates
Genre tags: Adventure / Scavenger Hunt. Avatar type: R15. Max players: 20. Creator group: aarush’s fruit game, owner AarushDevX.
That launch loop is still the loop. The getting started guide is written against it.
4 September 2026 — live snapshot
No new numbered blog. The place is still 1,000,000 hay, 20-player servers, empty badge list, empty gamepass catalog, and no public codes. What did move: visits crossed ~3.04 million, a sample concurrent count sat near 5,800, favorites ~10,300, rating still about 94% (13.0k / 0.8k), group membership ~153,000. The studio timestamp on 3 September now reads 17:12 UTC. Treat that as a silent bump, then run the verification lap on what’s new.
3 September 2026 — studio update
Roblox reported an update timestamp on 3 September 2026. No public blog listed a bullet list. In practical terms, you should:
- Assume shop prices or object names may have moved.
- Re-test grab and sell prompts (controls).
- Expect older ESP paths to fail until scripts catch up (needle finder).
- Check the group shout for a code. None were verified for the codes hub at wiki build time.
If you played across that date and felt bombs or hay density change, treat it as real even without a tweet. Log it in your own head, then keep using how to farm hay until the shop proves otherwise.
What we have not seen
- Official badges on the universe API (empty list at write time)
- Official gamepasses on the catalog (empty list at write time)
- A documented VIP server switch
- A public Trello
- A numbered “v1.2” blog
When any of those appear, they get a new dated row here, a mention on what’s new, and a link from the links hub. Until then, empty APIs stay empty. We will not invent a Battle Pass.
How to read a silent update
Roblox experiences update for many reasons: a lighting tweak, an anti-exploit rename, a HUD shift. Your checklist:
- One short sell loop. If cash per pack changed, the economy moved. Revisit the upgrade planner.
- One bomb. If radius or cost changed, the late-game tier list may shuffle.
- One search pass. If the pile shape changed, how to find the needle takes priority over muscle memory.
- One look at the HUD for a Codes tab.
That is the whole patch-note method for a game this new. Population spikes (thousands concurrent) are not patches. They are just the meme spreading. Play them like crowded servers using server tips.
Next row gets added when the timestamp moves again.
How this log will grow without turning into fan fiction
Each new row needs at least one of: a Roblox updated timestamp, a group shout screenshot we can paraphrase, or a shop row that did not exist last week. Comments that say “they added luck” without a timestamp do not get a heading. We would rather be short than wrong.
If badges appear, they will be named as Roblox lists them, not as a fan rarity tier. If a gamepass appears, it will be priced as the catalog shows and ranked on the tier list hub as convenience. If a Codes tab appears, how to redeem codes gets the UI path the same day.
Clones will keep launching with similar thumbnails. They do not get rows on this log. Place 83238501165241 is the only ID that does. When in doubt, open the game page from the links hub and check the universe, not the emoji in the title.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is there a v1.0 patch article?
No. The studio uses Roblox update timestamps. This page logs those dates plus confirmed gameplay facts.
Did the 3 September update add codes?
No public key was verified. The codes hub remains empty until one is.
Were gamepasses added?
The catalog list was empty at write time. Paid rows will be ranked on the tier list hub if they appear.
Why is the log so short?
The game is weeks old. A long fake changelog would be fiction.
