Classes Guide

The Classes booth is the Gem-based economy inside Find the Needle. Unlike the cash shop, Classes cost Gems and give role abilities that modify collection, movement, or search behavior. This guide covers how to earn Gems, what each spin costs, all 8 classes and their spin rates, and how Classes affect your hunt through a million pieces of hay.

The booth appears near the spawn point and uses a spin interface. Farmhouse cash does not fund Class spins — only Gems pay for this system.

All 8 Classes and spin rates

The spin system awards one of eight classes. Probabilities range from 40% for Starter to 0.1% for Ultimate Farmer:

ClassApproximate spin rateEffect
Starter40% (most common)Default class, no special bonus
Pack Mule~20%Increased backpack capacity
Hay Merchant~15%Faster hay selling speed
Forkmaster~10%Better hay collection per click
Demolitionist~5%Bombs have larger blast radius
Prospector~3%Increased chance to spot rare items
Drone Specialist~1.5%Deploys a search drone that scans nearby area
Ultimate Farmer0.1% (rarest)Combines all class bonuses into one

The exact percentages are community-observed and may shift slightly after balance patches. The Ultimate Farmer class is the documented best-in-slot because it stacks every other class bonus simultaneously.

How to get Gems

Gems come from two documented sources:

One-time group reward (25 Gems):

  • Like the Roblox experience on the official game page.
  • Join the Garage Games group with the same account.
  • Return to the game and press Claim in the Free Reward panel.
  • If the button stays locked, leave the server and rejoin so the session refreshes.

Eight-day daily login track:

DayGems
Day 110
Day 2120
Day 350
Day 450
Day 550
Day 650
Day 750
Day 8500

The Day 2 payout of 120 Gems is enough for three complete spins at the documented 40-Gem price. Check the live booth price before spending because balance patches can change the cost.

The Classes booth

Open the booth near spawn to see the current Class roster and spin price. Each spin costs 40 Gems. The result typically awards a role or ability that applies during Farmhouse runs.

Classes are separate from the cash upgrade tree. A Class role does not replace grab speed or backpack capacity from the shop — it modifies how the run feels while those upgrades develop.

What each Class does

  • Starter — default class with no special bonuses. Use this while saving for spins.
  • Pack Mule — your backpack holds more hay before you need to sell. Fewer trips to the cow.
  • Hay Merchant — hay sells faster at the cow. Good for keeping momentum during high-capacity runs.
  • Forkmaster — each click collects more hay. Best for players who hate slow collection.
  • Demolitionist — bomb explosions cover more area. Makes craters bigger and search faster.
  • Prospector — increases the chance of spotting the needle or rare items during normal collection. Subtle but useful.
  • Drone Specialist — deploys a scanning drone that patrols the nearby area and highlights potential needle locations. High skill ceiling.
  • Ultimate Farmer — stacks every class bonus. The documented best class if you hit the 0.1% spin.

Strategy for new players

  1. Claim the 25-Gem group reward first (requires both liking the experience and joining the group).
  2. Accumulate at least 120 Gems from Day 2 daily login before spending on spins.
  3. Open the Classes booth and note the current spin price (typically 40 Gems).
  4. Spin three times with Day 2 Gems to maximize chance of a useful class.
  5. If you get Pack Mule, Hay Merchant, or Forkmaster, those provide the most consistent grind help.
  6. Save remaining Gems for additional spins or wait for the Day 8 payout of 500 Gems.

Do not spend Gems on cosmetics outside the Classes booth. The Gem economy is slow to rebuild.

Classes and the needle hunt

A useful Class does not guarantee a find, but it changes the collection rhythm. Demolitionist makes bombs more effective for area denial. Prospector and Drone Specialist provide visual search assistance. Ultimate Farmer combines everything.

The needle is still hidden randomly. No Class reveals a fixed coordinate. Use the how to find the needle guide alongside any Class ability.

After a patch

Studio updates can add new Classes, change spin prices, or alter class behavior. If the booth looks different after an update:

  1. Note any new Class names and their descriptions.
  2. Check whether the spin price changed.
  3. Test a new or modified role in a Farmhouse run.
  4. Update this page when behavior is confirmed.

The updates hub tracks patches that affect the Classes system.
